Notes of cassis, red and black pepper, and spices. There are beautiful mineral notes and integrated oak characteristics such as vanilla, caramel, and smoke. The mature and soft tannins are round with a fresh acidity. Concentrated, balanced, and full-flavored, it displays both elegance and freshness.
’15 Rameriz De Las Piscina Riserva
Deep ruby red with a pale violet rim. On the nose the characteristic Sonsierra red fruits combine with touches of spicy wood. In the mouth it is tasty, spicy and structured, with hints of vanilla and coffee and a good balance between wine and oak. The finish is long with a pronounced back taste.
'18 Chateau Riviere Lacoste Graves
White Bordeaux wine. Graves, Bordeaux, France. Sustainable. 65% Semillon, 35% Sauvignon. Produced from 45-year-old vines planted on soils of sand, clay and gravel. Fermented and aged in casks with regular stirring of the lees. A very pretty wine with impressive nuance for its price point. Flavors and aromas of almonds, dried flowers, mint, and apricot are all at the fore in this succulent, inviting wine. The finish is creamy and expressive, bolstering the wine's considerable appeal.

"19 De Westhof Chardonnay
This smells vibrant and sweet fruited, with aromas of strawberry hull, ripe melon and pineapple. Despite the fruity intensity on the nose, the palate is light and bright in feel, with citrus-driven flavors and ample acidity to keep it fresh and vibrant through the medium-length close.
Stolpman, Rose of Grenache
From the moment it’s poured, Stolpman’s entrylevel rosé comes off as edgy and elegant, with a texture that bears out the warmth of Ballard Canyon and the finessed hand of winemaker Kyle Knapp. It’s very pale, with scents of cherry blossom and a spray of bitter herbs, and juicy flavors that firm up and focus with air
'18 Raventos i Blance de Nit-Brut Rose Cava
This is a very pretty Spanish sparkler. Gentle red flowers come across on the nose and soft red fruit dances on the palate, while minerality and just enough acidity provide a sturdy backbone. They key here is the touch of Monastrell in the blend. It is the grape that allows the Xarello and Macabeo to do what they do best. Grapes have been growing on the Raventós estate since 1496, so there is history go back up the wonderful craftmanship on display. This is a great wine for the price. Treat yourself and drink it anytime, not just for celebrations. - EG
